1. Here fabulous parties, air kisses, paparazzi and hot guys all come with the scene. (source: GoodReads)
My Thoughts: I was shocked as to how much I loved this book. Although, the writing isn't the best and the plot can be cheesy at times I think it is a fun read.
2. Paper Towns by John Green: Quentin Jacobsen has spent a lifetime loving the magnificently adventurous Margo Roth Spiegelman from afar. So when she cracks open a window and climbs back into his life—dressed like a ninja and summoning him for an ingenious campaign of revenge—he follows. After their all-nighter ends and a new day breaks, Q arrives at school to discover that Margo, always an enigma, has now become a mystery. (source: GoodReads)
My Thoughts: This book is a page turning novel that has mystery and deeper meaning about the places we live in. I do think that the book lags at times it is still wonderfully written and has an interesting story. A good read for those rainy spring days.
3. Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen: It’s been so long since Auden slept at night. Ever since her parents’ divorce—or since the fighting started. Now she has the chance to spend a carefree summer with her dad and his new family in the charming beach town where they live. (source: GoodReads)
My Thoughts: I listened to the audio version of this book because I just couldn't get into the story, which is a great tip if you are having trouble reading a book. However, I found the story to be very cute and lighthearted. I think this book, or any Sarah Dessen novel, is a beach bag must.
